Naps ... a mom's break from a long day of momming. But some day (way too soon) your little one isn't going to be so keen on laying down for some mid-day shut eye. So how long can you expect your kids to enjoy at least one nap a day? Our Moms of Multiples weigh in ...
"Still napping for 3 hours [a day] at almost 3 years old. (They are very very active while awake.)" - Jessica C.
"For us it was around 3, with our singleton and he still naps maybe once a week. Even if he doesn't nap, he always gets quiet time in his room (for both of our sanities). Out twins still nap 1.5-2 hours daily. They’ll be 2 in a month." - Samantha P.
"My older girls gave up naps around 22-26 months but my twins are 4 and I still get them to nap for 1-2 hrs, 3-5 days per week. I know I am on borrowed time. 😂😂😂" - Paula K.
"My girls are 4 and will still nap, they don't always take them but they're super cranky when they don't nap." - Jess D.
"Too soon. 😂 Mine were around 3 when they stopped, but one would still nap everyday if I put her down for one." - Kalena W.
"We barely made it to two. My singleton is a ball of energy though." - Rachel F.
"My son was just over 3 when he fully stopped. We still enforce quiet time every day though! So it’s not as bad as it sounds. 😂" - Lindsey P.
So, as you can see, it varies widely. Our best advice? Enjoy it while it lasts!
