Open-ended toys, ones that can be played with in limitless ways, are great for this age group. They include blocks of all shapes and sizes, such as Legos.
Lego blocks | Our moms of multiples said their kids have gotten years of play out of their Lego! They also recommended a table for convenient play & storage.
Magna-tiles or Picasso Tiles | These magnetic tiles are another open ended toy recommended by multiple moms! It's a gift that can grow with them, and they'll use for years. And, if you've got multiple little ones running around, you'll need a lot of them, so no worries if this is a repeat gift!
Chalkboard | A child-sized chalkboard for writing and drawing was another popular choice.

Puzzles | Puzzles promote hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills, and kids this age feel a huge sense of accomplishment when they finish a puzzle! And there's a perfect puzzle no matter what their interest, whether they love cars, dinosaurs, safari animals, or a little of everything.
Board Games | Simple board games help little ones use new thinking skills and work on emerging self-control as they wait for a turn and cope with winning and losing. They may love a classic like Candyland, or something new like Zingo.
Tablet | You may be thinking, "A tablet? For a 4-year old?" While this is definitely more of a want than a need, they will get hours of entertainment out of it, I can promise you that.
